Whilst rarely a desired outcome when evolving an industry-leading platform, with this latest release, the CCE team have been working hard to ensure nothing changed !
The reason why we can be so, so proud of changing nothing at all is, in fact, the entire platform has been rebuilt using new tech stack!
As with any complex Software platform, we expected an influx of issues, though none were found - It's just Business As Usual !
Whilst some might think such an undertaking is a great challenge and nothing more, this update has a very serious, and intended outcome - to ensure we are built for the future. You should notice the app is now more responsive to interactions - especially within modules containing hundreds of campaigns.
A huge thank you to the dedicated CCE team, for an incredibly vast, and dedicated effort.
Announcing the Multi-Product Beta
For most customers, CCE supports only a single conversion event per site, most often a 'subscription' event. For some select opt-in customers, we have introduced Multi-Product capability.
As per the previous post on topic, this enables many products to be defined in CCE, and the ability to affiliate any Personalized Offer with a product. This ensures you can track Newsletter subscriptions separately to a paid user paywall subscription for example.
As such, this is an all-important step toward providing maximum ROI for Publishing Products - Online Subscriptions, Newsletters subscriptions, and Registration sign-ups alike. All three options have proven themselves as valuable tools to build audiences, brand awareness, and ultimately revenue for publishing businesses.
Once the Beta test is complete, we will be adding a little more polish, and expect to roll out Multi-Product capability shortly thereafter.
Article Performance Report
After the extraordinary take up of CCE Content Module Beta, we're excited to highlight the new report that presents which content is most engaged with.
For most CCE Content modules, this listing provides direct feedback on the benefits of auto-optimization. Conversely, for modules with hard-coded content selection, it is important to interpret each content item as an outcome of the specific content blending definition.
For most usage, we strongly recommend using the auto-optimization feature, as it provides maximum engagement without requiring human effort.
Article Performance Report Detail:
The title of the Article that was included at least once in your personalized content module.
The amount of times an article was included in the content delivered to the module.
The amount of times a User clicked on that recommended article in the module.
The amount of clicks on that article divided by the amount of times it was shown (Clicks/Imps)
The Article's total page views, independent of the traffic driver by the module.
Module Liveness indicator
A welcome addition to the module selector is an indication of if each module is live and delivering impressions. As you add more modules, it is important to see at a glance which modules are actually delivering.
Lastly, we'd like to also congratulate the Cxense DMP team on their 5 year anniversary !!
We're especially proud to be Cxensers today !
Thanks for reading, and happy audience engagement.
Simon & the CCE Team.
