Multiple Conversion Product support & integration
This super exciting feature to getting close to beta release, with many customers soon to gain access for initial testing. As supporting multiple subscription products and types is almost akin to a veritable CCE omniverse, we are being optimistically cautious, and expanding our current test cases to ensure we've nailed the brief.
A screenshot from the Multi-Products Dev Build...
This is all we can show for now ! :)
In the interim, we can share a few of the intended launch details - not without the caveat of course that things may change prior to actual production delivery. From the get-go, we intend to support:
Subscription Products
Generally a Subscription Product is setup with a chargeable cost, and auto renews over a period of Day, Week, Month, or Year. This has been the most often referenced product type in CCE, due to CCE Convert modules and delivering award winning Dynamic paywalls for our customers.
Registration Products
Registration Products generally incorporate the ability for a user to add their email address in order to gain access to certain content, offers, or events. Often without a charge nor renewal, the offer is mutually beneficial, the End User gains access to digital content or special offers, and the Product owner gains the benefit of a communication medium, along with the increased probability of a subscriber for the future.
Newsletter Products
As it's name suggests Users who subscribe to a Newsletter Product are signing up to receive one or more newsletters in their email inbox. These subscriptions generally do not renew over a time period, though can be charged when the content is timely, or offers financial information services for example.
Whilst we expect certain trends in usage and setup, all products can have optional charges, and renewal cycles, (or not!) as there is of course more than one way to build engagement and subscribers in the digital environment.
Stay tuned to our next few releases if you intend to manage multiple products and product strategies with your CCE instance (and if not, why not!!? :) )
Please reach out to support@cxense.com if you are interested to be included in the multi product beta.
Archived campaigns update
We are still reviewing the perfect snapshot of capabilities for this feature, which has resulted in us deciding not launch just yet. Never fear, this one is still coming soon !
Script Tag update for CCE Content module
The tags for CCE Content modules include two tag references. If the module tag is placed before the 'page' tag, the module would not instantiate correctly. Whilst an edge case (generally our customers will place the page view call before a module call), we added a fix so now the tags can be placed in either order.
For the techies amongst us (I do my best to talk 0s and 1s :)), we added callQueues to the CCE Content module tags...
var cX = window.cX = window.cX || {}; cX.callQueue = cX.callQueue || []; cX.CCE = cX.CCE || {}; cX.CCE.callQueue = cX.CCE.callQueue || [];
CCE Content: Add support for a default image size
In the CCE application, when viewing curated content, sometimes images looked skewed. This fix ensures all images look appropriate, ensuring the Curation process does not require any guess work !
Campaign Prioritization (Drag and Drop) issues
Initial snapshot of this release included a bug affecting the ability to prioritize campaigns via drag and drop. This was quickly patched and redeployed. We received some feedback from some users when this bug was deployed - to those quick on the uptake who reported the issue, thank you for your quick feedback and assistance !
As testament to the processes we have in place for development and deployment, we were able to solve this one relatively quickly. Adding the note here for transparency, awareness, and to help give context to seemly random shout out to those who provide feedback !
Some duplicated campaigns became 'locked' when editing
Some duplicated campaigns were incorrectly being locked (and thereby in-editable) due to a nuance of their creation process - some tags were not being instantiated correctly for duplicated campaigns.
This locking behavior is by design - to reduce instances of external edits conflicting/ breaking live modules.
All instances of this issue has now been resolved.
That's it for this release - Happy Engagement!
Simon & the CCE Team.
