Performance
Having all the labels in English allows us to avoid joining with a massive table that manages the translations. We are sure that you have noticed the performance of the new engine, this is partially due to this change.
Multicultural organisations
If you work in an organisation with user accounts in several languages, document sharing will be easier to manage. If you add a filter on the Device property with "Device = Computer" and share a dataset to a French user, no data will be returned as the user account is in French and expects "Device = Ordinateur".
